"I'm not saying that the world will be better tomorrow. I'm only saying: You are not alone."

Almost as soon the third album "Beautiful Sky" appeared, were the lines of "Alright" being sung to at festivals and in concert halls. The Mantra moves. Suddenly your feeling and state-of-mind changes. A feeling of hope pervades.takes over everything.
And even though Rea sings in one place: "Sometimes words are just not enough", you could say:"Sometimes one word IS enough".
With the ballad "Alright" the German-Irish group, Reamonn, has summarized in one word, in one song, an entire album, the philosophy of the band and their attitude.
There are few sings able to do this: get by with few words. As with "Supergirl", the first major success of the band, "Alright" is able to express itself in one word, where others would need much longer sentences. "Everyone knows what is meant when they hear it. When it is sung by many, it is like a mantra."
Reamonn's music conveys security - not only in joy but also in its opposite. It is ok to feel sadness, fear and confusion. These feelings belong to life just as much as fun, confidence and hope.
"Alright means more in English than a mere 'everything is ok'".
It can also mean: The situation is bad, and it may very well remain this way, but you are not alone. I am with you. "I love the simplicity of the word 'alright'", says Rea. To the questions as to why people like to sing along to the song and why they do it so quickly, he says: "Maybe it does them good to sing this word. At the least, it would be great if that were the case. As an echo in the head. As a small piece of solidarity and hope."
